Blown Flash — Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Blown Flash Android app. Installing or using the app means you accept them.
1. What Blown Flash is
Blown Flash is a photo and video editor that processes your files on your own device. We provide the app; the files you edit, and whatever you do with the results, are yours.
2. Your content stays yours
You keep every right you already had in the photos and videos you edit. We claim no licence of any kind over your content, which is straightforward because your content is never sent to us — editing is local to your device.
You are responsible for having the right to edit what you open: the app has no way to know whether a photo is yours, and using it on someone else's work without permission is your problem rather than ours.
3. Subscriptions
Blown Flash is free to use. An optional Premium subscription unlocks:
- exports without the watermark,
- full-quality video export,
- presets marked as premium.
Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play, not by us. The price, currency, and renewal period shown at purchase are the ones that apply.
Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Cancel any time in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions, or via Settings → Manage subscription in Blown Flash. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you already paid for, and you keep Premium until that period ends.
Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy, since Google is the seller of record. We cannot issue refunds for a Play purchase ourselves. Consumers in the EU, the UK, and other jurisdictions with statutory withdrawal rights keep those rights in full, and nothing here limits them.
Price changes will not take effect on an existing subscription without notice and, where the law requires it, your consent.
4. What we ask of you
Do not:
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's assets for redistribution;
- resell, sublicense, or rent the app or a subscription;
- use the app to produce content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.
5. Availability
The app and its backend are provided as they are, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. A feature that depends on the backend — edit sync, remote presets — may be unavailable while the service is down. Local editing and export do not depend on the network and keep working regardless.
We may change or discontinue features between releases. If a change removes something a live subscription was sold on, you will be told in the release notes and may cancel.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data. Keep your originals. The app writes new files and does not modify or delete your source photos and videos, but no software is perfect, and an edit is not a backup.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer-protection law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights apply in addition to these terms and are not replaced by them.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law and may bring proceedings there.
8. Changes
Material changes to these terms will be announced in the app's release notes, and the date at the top will change.
